The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program is a free tax service to any Kelownian needing or wanting support in filing their annual taxes. This free tax service is powered purely by volunteers who exchange their time and talent for increased experience and the satisfaction of knowing they are making a tangible difference in the community. The service is available from March 1 to April 30 and is facilitated during Metro Central hours at Metro Central.

All taxes are filed electronically, however, in some cases certain volunteers are qualified to do paper filings for previous years.
