Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered 12-step recovery program. It is a safe place for men and women to meet others who have similar struggles and find freedom from our hurts, hang-ups and habits.

Women's Breakfast meets upstairs at Sprout Bread and Coffee on Cannery Lane, every other Thursday at 7:30 AM. It is a time for women to meet old and new friends while enjoying a delicious light breakfast or just a coffee. You are invited to the SANDBOX LIFE which is an experimental community, we are an open group, not afraid to address the real issues of life.
We invite speakers who will share a wide array of perspectives which hopefully lead to a greater understanding and awareness of Life.
We meet every 2 and 4 Thursday of each month at 6.25 pm for about 1.5 hours.
The location will be the Metro Services Coffee Shop, check the metro Web site, bulletin, and slides.

Our men’s fellowship meets every week in the Metro Cafe (1262 St. Paul Street. Our purpose is to seek God, to pursue truth, and to support each other in prayer. Our format is to open in prayer, read a Bible verse, hear a short devotion, answer a couple of questions about it, and share prayer concerns. We start at 7AM and wrap at 8AM. Coffee is provided, courtesy of Metro. We plan to keep going right through summer every second week.

Jr High Youth Kickoff
We’re excited to launch Jr High Youth for grades 6–8 starting Monday, September 29th from 6:00–7:30pm at Metro! Our heart is to create a safe place where kids can be themselves, build genuine friendships, and grow in their faith. Each week they’ll connect with awesome leaders—including some of our Sr High youth—who are passionate about walking alongside them. We’d love to see your kids there!

For over 13 years, the Ancient Streams community has gathered for an outdoor day retreat at Bertam Park. Each year is different--whether blue skies & bright sunshine, grey clouds over a silver lake, or short cloud bursts of rain accompanied by a rainbow. We don't know what we will receive, but we have never been disappointed. God continuously pours out his gifts of love and presence through His creation.
At this retreat, there will be an extended time for solitude as well as corporate times for Scripture, prayers, and sharing our experience with each other. At sunset, we conclude the day with a shared meal and communion by the lake. Come join us and see what God has for us this year!

Acrylic Art Class by Sarah Lewke
We're excited to announce a six-week acrylic painting class this fall, led by artist and teacher Sarah Lewke. In this class, Sarah will share a painting practice she has developed in her studio—one that brings freedom, joy, and a deeper connection with Jesus through the visual arts. Open to all skill levels. This is not a paint night where we go step by step through what to do, but participants will learn foundational skills such as value, structure, composition, design, and colour, so that you can make your art stronger and feel more like you. Classes run Tuesday nights from 6:00–9:00 PM at Metro.

The Greenhouse (POSTPONED)
WE POSTPONED THIS EVENT, AND WILL ANNOUNCE THE NEW DATE.
We are trying something brand new at Metro. 'THE GREENHOUSE'. A space where creative seeds can be nurtured and grow.
An evening of multi-disciplinary artistic creativity.
We will set up in a large circle and there will be musicians jamming, painters, painting, drawers drawing, writers writing. Who even knows dancers dancing? It’s a time to share our creativity and interact with other creative people in a supportive and encouraging environment. Express our worship in new and fresh ways. Some Art supplies will be provided but please also feel free to bring your own too.
It is open to everyone.
Dad Camp
Come to dad camp! A place for dad’s to bring their kid(s) grade 1-6 for a time of learning to be better dads, bonding, and much more.
